The film tells of events in the summer where a group of youths wanted to see fireworks from the lighthouse of the city while asking if the fireworks were circular or flat when viewed from different sides. A girl named Nazuna invites Norimichi who likes Nazuna to run away with her. What fate awaits these two people in the days that keep repeating them and they are trapped in them?
If further judgment is actually the adaptation of the animated film Uchiage Hanabi has a much different dimension than the original work. Adaptation The new Uchiage Hanabi carries the theme of escapism and rejection that always radiates in Norimichi.
The character of this theme is precisely sung by a Norimichi character who is an innocent child who wants to continue always with Nazuna so that the theme is relevant to the unstable boy's attitude. The theme is also supported by the occurrence of repetition of time or time looping this story which corroborates the theme of escapism.
