The Comic Lovers of Jadul, Manga Cooking Master Boy Will Return Again!

        
        

Cooking Master Boy will return to accompany manga loyal readers starting in November 2017

Still remember with popular manga Cooking Master Boy which has original title Chuuka Ichiban in Japan? Before the manga trends about popular cooking in Indonesia such as Yakitake Japan and of course Shokugeki no Souma appeared, Cooking Master Boy had stolen the hearts of manga lovers in Indonesia in the era of the 90s to the early 2000s.

There is good news for you comic lovers made by Etsushi Ogawa which has been released from 1995 – 1999. Because the sequel of Cooking Master Boy is being worked on and will be released in November via comic app Kadokawa's smartphone named "Magazine Pocket". The title of this new comic sequel will be named Chuuka Ichiban! Kiwami .

The series will appear weekly in the official app Weekly Shounen Magazine, "Magazine Pocket". I will draw Mao for the first time after about 20 years (hahaha).

Cooking Master Boy tells the story of a 13-year-old boy named Liu Mao Hsing, venturing all over mainland China to continue his mother's determination to be a chef to make others happy as well to destroy the guerrilla world and collect 7 equipments the legendary cook to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands. In her development, Mao was accompanied by Li Wen, Xi Er, Mei Lee, Zhi Lao and Lan Fei Hong. Mao has the youngest special chef in the history of the Chinese cooking world. Some of the guerrilla cooks Mao had defeated were Li Wen, San and Lee An.

Cooking Master Boy has been adapted into an anime series that aired from 1997 – 1998 on Fuji TV and runs for 52 episodes. Cooking Master Boy itself has been released in Indonesia through publisher Elex Media Komputindo and became one of the most popular manga for Indonesians of its time, while its animated series has been aired in Indonesia through three different local TV stations.
